Second session of the week so I thought it might be hard going so I took it easy at the start.

Took the easiest route I know of to get up to the Wyche and to my surprise made it without stopping to rest (except the traffic lights right at the start).

So thought I'd get up through the Wyche car park before resting but when I got there I felt fine. From there on after each realy steep section I took it easy to try and recover without stopping. Then there was just the last climb to the sumit so I went off the path at that point and around to the left and up from there and then, that was it I was at the top wooahoo, first time ever all the way up without resting 1200 ft.

A quick stop to take in the view and then a fast decent and back to work within the hour. Got rather muddy again on the way down and I only cleaned the bike yesterday.

I think my achilles is now well on the way back and hopefully after the rest of this month doing physio excersises to strengthen it I'll be back to running ;-)
